Seasoned trust and agency services salesman Bryan Gartenberg has started work at a new firm, having left Deutsche Bank after 15 years.

His new role is senior vice president and head of escrow and specialized agency sales at Texas Capital Bank, a Dallas-based lender and private wealth advisory shop. He started in February.

A spokesperson for Texas Capital Bank in Dallas confirmed that he now worked there but declined to provide further details, such as where he would be based and who he would report to.

Gartenberg joined Deutsche in 2004 and ran the bank's Americas trust and agency services sales division since 2016. He also led teams selling the firm's project finance and Latin America trust and agency products.

He left the German bank toward the end of last year, says a deal watcher. A spokesperson for Deutsche in New York did not respond to a request for comment.

Gartenberg is well known in project finance circles, having worked in corporate trust sales since 1993. He was at Citi for 19 years before moving to Deutsche Bank.
