Packaging and aerospace company Ball Corp. has signed virtual power purchase agreements for the output of solar and wind projects in Oklahoma and Texas.

The contracts total 388 MW, of which 227 MW is solar and 161 MW is wind generation. Ball declined to reveal further details of the projects or name the developers with which it had signed the agreements.

Schneider Energy and Sustainability Services advised Ball on the procurement exercise.
