TerraForm Power has signed a deal to acquire a roughly 320 MW distributed solar and fuel cell platform from AltaGas following an auction run by two investment banks.

The yield company has agreed to pay $720 million for the portfolio, which is contracted under power purchase agreements with an average remaining life of about 17 years.
