Banco Sabadell's former head of project finance in the Americas has left the firm to join the structured finance team of an international solar developer.

The banker, Ainhoa Corrales Caballero joined X-Elio in Madrid last month.

She had been with Sabadell’s project finance team since 2007, including a three-year spell managing the bank’s New York office. She was most recently based in Miami.

Canadian Solar and EDF were among the bank's Latin American clients during her tenure (PFR, 4/24/19, 4/24/19).

Marc López Llopart, Sabadell's chief representative officer in New York, has assumed the position vacated by Corrales Caballero as head of Americas project finance, at the rank of senior vice president.
