The Export-Import Bank of the United States has bolstered its project finance division with a senior hire.

Daniel Tobin joined the export credit agency in January as managing director, structured and project finance.

He had previously spent six years with the U.S. Department of Energy as energy storage and renewables originations lead. He held the rank of senior investments officer.

Exim Bank was reauthorized for seven years at the end of 2019 and its mandate includes financing battery storage technologies.
