Law firm Hogan Lovells has hired a partner to join its New York finance practice to focus on Latin America.

Ben Garcia joins the firm from Milbank where he was special counsel in the capital markets group.

As part of his remit, he will focus on project bonds across Latin America. 

He had previously worked on bond deals for a Celeo Redes Operación Chile hydro plant, Actis’ acquisition of Intergen Mexico assets and an Energía Eólica wind farm in Peru.
