A project finance professional has parted ways with the distributed solar developer he used to work at as the firm reorganizes.

Jon Cole left Libra Group subsidiary Greenwood Energy this week after almost six years as managing director, PFR has learned.

A Greenwood representative confirmed the company was going through a reorganization but did not immediately comment on who would assume Cole’s responsibilities.

He had most recently helped finance 50 MW of commercial and industrial solar projects with debt from ORIX Corp. and tax equity from U.S. Bank (PFR, 8/23).

Before joining Greenwood in 2013, he spent seven years with Orrick as senior associate in the energy & infrastructure group.

Prior to that he had spells with law firms Jones Day and Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
