A senior originator of power purchase agreements at renewables developer sPower recently moved over to the procurement side of the table at a large technology firm in California's Bay Area.

The official, Donna Calderon, started a new job in Google’s energy strategy team in April, according to her profile on LinkedIn.

Officials at Google in San Francisco did not respond to an inquiry about Calderon’s specific role by press time.

She had worked at sPower in Salt Lake City for just over a year and led the firm's commercial and industrial origination for utility-scale wind, solar and energy storage projects as a director.

Before that, she spent almost four years with Renewable Energy Systems Americas on the outskirts of Denver, most recently as senior manager, origination.

Calderon began her power sector career with in 2009 utility company Liberty Power in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 2009 and was a renewable energy manager by the time she left five years later.
