Raphael Dumas, an experienced energy and infrastructure financier with a focus on Latin America, has started in a new job after leaving HSBC earlier this year.

He began work at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. last week as executive director of corporate finance and will have a broader remit there, bringing together products ranging from project finance to debt capital markets, advisory and rates for the bank's clients in the region.
