Power Finance & Risk is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for its 19th Annual Deals and Firms of the Year Awards.

The awards are open to banks, developers, strategic and financial investors (including tax equity and mezzanine lenders) and law firms that were active in the financing or sale of renewable energy and power assets in the US and Canada between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021.

Deals must have reached financial close during calendar year 2021 to be eligible for the Deal of the Year Awards.

PFR is pleased to offer this opportunity to tell a good news story about power and renewable energy project finance during the challenging times we are all facing.

Nomination forms:

Firm of the Year Nomination Form

Project Finance Deal of the Year Nomination Form

M&A Deal of the Year Nomination Form

Individual of the Year Nomination Form

The deadline for all nominations is Monday, February 21, 2022.

How are the winners determined?

The PFR editorial team has assembled a panel of dozens of senior market participants including group heads in project finance, investment banking, development, private equity and law, and will conduct research interviews with this panel to obtain feedback on firms that are eligible for awards.

We will consider all nominations carefully in conjunction with our independent research to determine the Firms of the Year.

The editorial team will also compile short lists for the Deal of the Year Awards. These short lists will then be voted on by a specially selected panel to avoid conflicts of interest.

We are aiming to announce the winners in August.
